New PC |
|
Hello lovelies.
My old PC is getting tired and the graphics card died. So I'm thinking of getting a new one to last me another 5 years or so. Been a long time since I kept up to date with PC components and I'm lazier than ever so would this machine do the business?

Or should I hold off and wait for the steamboxes to come out?
And no, I will not make my own PC.

It is all fine, except one thing, Windows 8.

Agreed - but there's no option for Win7

Then again "DirectX 12" will possibly be Windows 8 exclusive.

How else are you going to generate the envy of your neighbors with tasteful LED lighting in a variety of colors?
Dear God man don't forget about the stickers.

I have Startisback for Windows 8. This little program can get rid of almost everything that windows 8 has introduced. No more Metro, corner functions, old start menu is back etc.
Windows 8 is pretty much 7 with improvements but many unnecessary things and complications tacked on that can however be gotten rid of with the right tools.
http://startisback.com/ It costs $2.99 for 1 PC.
I went further and also got two windows XP features back, the old quicklaunch and taskbar: http://i.imgur.com/NMh4xMU.jpg
