ob combat house hd (Beta preview) Subject description: "Last Updated 8st April 2012"
ob combat house hd (alpha preview)
I'm porting combat house to the orange engine and updating the graphics with HD textures/reflections and other nice texture effects.
The map is also getting some extra optimiztion so the frame rates will be smooth.
The main reason i'm doing this is so I can get familiar with using HD textures for future projects.
Also to show the Source Engine still has power left in it to pull off nice visuals. Plus we are not in 2006 anymore.

Grass looking alot better.
The water in the pool/bath looks hd fresh, but the lines in the glass makes it look low res, can this be tweaked such as better reflection or clearer to see through etc? _________________

I won't post a detailed new topic till the map is out of Beta stage.
In short the textures are high res (HD) and have other engine visual effects to look nice.
Report problems and improvements or just kill each other.

Well if you've got the money to splash out on new carpets, can we have a plasma tv in the living room with a saterlite/top down view of the whole area and a comfy sofa to watch the carnage on _________________

I have a working TV down stairs showing super charger users instead.
I've also got a sponge in the bath for Balle and Shimmy back washes they do.

That's a security camera showing the kill box. I was think of a plasma showing a top down view so you can spot campers on the roof or some one running around the outside that you could time jumping out with a stun stick _________________

I wish could but the engine only supports one working real time camera.

Here's "dm_ob_combat_house_hd_b5"
Brief Update List
The trap has a Teleport button to get you out alive (save me button)
The trap has blood writing on metal crusher.
Added 2 small wood platforms to jump on. Tip:(last one jump into the window)
Added bricks where the pool area (use as a ramp)
The small windows now have 1 health.
Added a new Teleport in the bath room.
You now can't slam the big wooden platform. (This helps stops teleport kills)
Added flickering red light where flare is by ladder.
Added orange box decal in basement.
Added decals in pool (for bubbles)
Fixed player getting stuck in dumpster sometimes.
Also fixed some other bugs and did some small map tweaks.
