Hi,
thank you very much for this nice Plugin! Exclamation

But i´ve got some problems with the humiliation sound on my dm server.

When someone was killed by an stunstick or crowbar the sound did not always play!

Example:

Kill by stunstick ... nothing happens .... next round same player .... kill by stunstick ... Humiliation - Sound & text!

I use the original cfg´s!

Humiliation will not trigger if the victim does have the humiliation weapon up at the time of the death.
Ex: if you are killing a player with a stunstick and that player does also has the stunstick in hand this will not trigger the humiliation.

This is actually the principle of the humiliation for KP Sound Plugin, you'll be humiliated if you get killed by an humiliation weapon considering that you weren't wearing this weapon at that time.

Hi. I am a novice (6 months) HL2DM server operator. I was running on Linux at home, but now I have a hosted (windows) server. I am not allowed to directly install the DLLs, but usually I can upload the necessary DLLs and other files and the host unzips them in place.

If I should not have posted in this thread, I apologize, please tell me the appropriate place to do so.

Things are mostly working, but I get very intermittent crashes and teleport lags which do not seem related to player latency. This log entry caught my eye:

MetaMod:Source is loaded - Your server will be more stable if you load KEEPER_SOUNDS as a MMS plugin!!!

1. Is this true?
2. If so, how do I load KEEPER_SOUNDS as an MMS plugin?

I could not find keeper sounds in the lists at:
http://www.sourcemm.net/plugins or
http://wiki.alliedmods.net/Open_Source_Plugins_for_Metamod:Source

I am including some configuration info. Let me know if more would help.

well the installation procedure is explained in http://forum.tsgk.com/viewtopic.php?p=52376#52376

in the download, you will see three folders: addons, cfg and sound. within the addons folder you will see three files and two folders. if you want to have keepers plugin loaded as MMS, you dont need the three files so you can delete them. the two folders (keeper and metamod) contain all the necessary files

I dont remember if keepers plugin conflicts with bots so it would be a good idea to start with that.

As soon as my host removes the keeper_sounds.dll I will be able to restart the server and see if that a) removes the log entry and b) improves stability.

will this need big changes in the plugin or will changes in the dllinfo.kvf be enough (wild guess)?

I got problems running keepers plugin on a windows server.
when i try to load the plugin through MMS, the server enters an infinite loop - starts, loads keepers plugin in MMS, crashes.

in my linux game server i have even more problems.
when i load the plugin through MMS, it loads but doesnt work at all.
when i switch to VSP, on server start keepers plugin doesnt load at all. after plugin_load addons/keeper_sounds I get this:

The SMM Version of KP Sounds plugin does crash at a Windows server, this is confirmed, so running it as VSP should fix the problem and you can ignore the console message about stability for now.

Concerning the SMM Version for the Linux server, the problem seems to be distro related, it does run on some and crash on others, this is confirmed.
You may have to disable KP Sounds at Linux server if you want to use SMM at the same time for now.

Waiting for a fix.

Change / Additions for v2.2.1:

- Fix crashing issue on windows server with SMM.
- Fix plugin not loading issue on linux server with SMM.

- cfg/dllinfo.kvf must be updated as well.

Also a the kvf file which is present inside the cfg folder is subject to change depending the HL2DM update, you can find a new one which is automaticaly generated here:

got some problems. after the installation everything is working fine. some days later the headshot sound isnt working anymore... no error log... nothing.

got the same problem on two different server (linux hl2dm, sm/mm latest version)

I love Keepers Plugin, but am having issues since the update. I'm running Linux, and if I have Sourcemod (latest 1.3.7) and Keeper enabled at the same time, the server times out when you try to join for about 10 seconds and you cant join. I even disabled ALL sourcemod plugins, but still times out when you try to join. Any ideas?

Need some help here from the community.

Any help with this new encountered problem would be great. All of a sudden my keeper (streak) quake sounds have stopped working. At map change, srcds console reports this:

09:48:56: [KEEPER_SOUNDS] ERROR: A streak for (null) at 1 time(s) is already defined ... ignoring [4]

I just tried loading it as a VSP and the server crashes after about 5 seconds. At least running it via SMM, everything works besides the streaks.

And then the silence when it dawns upon Osiris_TSGK that DirtyDave isn't posting newb problems, but has been running an active HL2DM community for over 4 years. This guys knows to go through his checklist before making any stupid posts Smile

On a more important note though, any help to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. I could grant a temporary ftp and rcon access if that would help Smile

Just that it was my last post before i had to leave for the whole night.

Your cfg, txt and kvf were requested, so that i can test them at different servers, different OS / linux distro and make sure that the plugin isn't badly behaving in a certain environement.
The main goal is to reproduce the issue to be able to spot it.

For further testing, we would also need the result of:

plugin_print
meta list
IP:Port
And the OS, including its version, on which this server is running.
