I was right in the thick of it but to make things worse, the first invite I got was a genuine one from KC Tournament which, I accepted. The rest started pouring in from neyo, random strangers and GTA Mike (whom I was playing against at the time). Mike was quick on the uptake and alerted me to what was going on. Rapid change of password and trousers time. Very painfull until I discovered the KC invite was genuine. I have no idea how I got into the loop because neyo is not on my friends but it may have been via a community site of which we are both members. It could also have been via Mike who is on my friends list but I had received two chat invites from complete strangers by that time.
At the end of the day if even a few novices with good game portfolios fall for it, money can be made. That is why people still try it.

I got it too, very well engineered site, only the urlgave it away for me, plus I never seen NeYo play counterstrike since I known him. I think he has his account back now anyway.
