Running XP with Blackbox as my shell. Cheers to the Linux users in this thread.. I'm thinking of installing it on my other HD once I reformat it to get Vista off.

There are several shells out there.. Blackbox, xoblite, Fluxbox, BBlean, BBClean are all pretty much the same, part of the Blackbox family.

Not too sure about the Linux question, I've never tried. It may be an issue because Linux is an operating system as well, whereas Blackbox just replaces the Explorer shell.

And yeah, it's a lot of configuration. A lot of text file editing, but when you get it set up exactly how you like it, it's great.

Well after some research you can't use gnome in windows, but you can use kde.. Amarok on windows Very Happy
