Guild Wars 2 in development (with mentoring from Gabe Newell himself) for 5 years, it's finally approaching release and the developers are spewing info every day.

The game's alpha stage alone was stunning but I'm blown away every time they show it, the game is less than a year away and the beta may be around the corner for all I know.

It's going to be so sick! I read the interview with the devs on gamespot, very promising stuff. I am sad they removed secondary profession but the stuff they replaced it with is epic.

You get 10 skill slots. 5 are tied to the weapon you use and 5 are character specific. The way the environment affects everything, spells have cones of effect and if you shoot a bullet from a gun thru a fire storm or a force field you imbue it with that property.

Biggest wish list is an auction house. If they add that the game is be pure perfection! So far so good, the game alone with out a sound track sounds kick ass, sound acting is pretty sweet! The trident looks so good!

Ok need to relax! i really cant wait for this.... it looks so good!

Yeah secondaries are out because of how hard balancing pvp was the first time around, dynamic skill use was scrapped because of lag issues. However this new system of combat interaction seems way cooler.

You and I know some lame script kid would have loved the jumping attack dynamics and it would have been exploited within the first week.

Auction house is pretty much a given since it's an actual mmo now they mentioned using one, there are so many new features as you have read that MMO's have never seen and Jeremy Soule is coming back to do the soundtrack.

You know I'm going to start as a soldier schooling pvp.
