It can make vibrate the whole house!! i think these speakers were the best electronic piece i have ever bought. lol.
But, i never use high volume when gaming, so it doenst interfer with the mouse and aiming
When listening music, it does interfer with neighbors.....

the system is from 2007 but there is no need for me to upgrade yet. might wait till next year sometime maybe. the board is an asus p5b deluxe. the cpu is still not overclocked so there is some potential to be unlocked.
I updated the watercooling radiators, the harddrives (bigger and much more quiet), added harddrive silencing cases, reinstalled the superflux lights and installed a pumpcontroller to reduce its power so its more silent (though its still too loud for me). it still took over a week to finish everything. in the end I´m not happy with the noise level yet, though at some point one must simply give up because your ears will adapt each and every time you make your pc more silent.

I had the gaming rig sound you speak of once. radial fan of x850t, each time you started a game the pc noise would get crazy, there was this interesting feeling of relief whenever you closed the 3d app and the noise went back to 5% fanspeed. I hate pc noise.
my pc is on 24/7 so I sleep with it´s noise all the time. my dream is the zero noise pc with no moving parts while still having the power of a gaming rig. not really an option yet. you could go for ssds, put the water pump in a box and put cement in it or something like that and get a few big passive radiators. the end result would cost more than a reasonably priced car due to the ssd pricing. alternatively put normal 5400rpm samsungs in heattransmitting cement, not sure how thats called. if I had about 420€ to spend I could get myself 3 of these: http://www.aquatuning.de/product_info.php/info/p3359_Cape-Cora-Pro-1042-Konvekt-Ultra-schwarz.html might be good enough to cool well, though they would make it almost impossible to move the case at all then. there I go again with my silent craze (I actually might use these ideas I just had in the future), I guess at the end the noise my lcd screen makes would annoy me (not a joke, it really does when my pc isn´t running)

no I haven´t overclocked it at all. I´m sure there is good potential so might not be a bad idea to do some research and see what I can do. (would be my first oc)

Still too early a technology for me. Still some probs with configuring them and sdd deteriation. But having said that... I'd love to try them out.
