www.roekoe.be Subject description: Fun game |
|
I can see some of you guys already laughing, but here's something new I've found : http://www.roekoe.be, the virtual pigeon fancier simulation. Pigeon fanciers, you know, the ones that breed doves and let them fly in competition. This on-line game lets you be a pigeon fancier for free ! Couple doves and let them have babies, train your doves to crazy heights and make them a champion
It's a pretty crazy game, I know, but it's fun as hell and you only need to spend five minutes or something per day to make sure the doves have food enough, are subscribed to the flights and to check if you have won and where you are in the competition. The game is available in Dutch and English. 95% of the players are Belgian and Dutch so the English community aspect isn't that amazing yet. There is a separated forum section for the English-speaking though.
For the moment, there are no places free to register, but if you watch the homepage there might be some free places coming soon. It's a bit of a matter of being there and registering at the right moment, half of Belgium is on this site and to avoid major crashes the makers only let small groups of people register per period of time.
For the moment, there's 30 december as a date where there's new accounts but since they have moved their servers yesterday that hasn't been working. A bit of patience, I guess
