Kinda confused on this one. I had around 4700 points when I started playing today. I took a look at my stats after playin for a hour and now they went down... I was around 160 now I am 179 rank. How does this happen?

I used a lot of .357 is this my problem?

It depends the weapon you use and the person you kill, the person who killed you and the weapon he used.
357 is a good weapon but it's average for the point modifier.
Also if you kill low ranked people you don't get much point except if you use stick/crowbar and gravgun.
Note that you loose point when you get killed, you lost 1/4 of what the person that killed you have get, people less ranked than you will steal you much point that people over you in the rank.

This point system is far away not perfect but it's usefull to see your personal stats and improve your game.

Despite winning the matches by several frags/kills (ie today I won I had 122 wins and like 42 losses) I lost over 3500 points. I fell from 82000 points down to 62,000 points over 10 matches -despite my winning the match 80% of the time. I don't understand the point system.

My every death is 100 points loss. When I kill someone it's like 3 points. It's impossilbe to get points anymore. Am I doing something wrong? Even when I kill someone with more points i get like 38 points. I never get 100 points for any kills. Why do I lose so many when I die. The only way to get more points is to never die which is impossible.

I'm losing my mind....

Suggestion...how about a 3000 point win for the winner of the match. Or make each kill worth the same. Why take away points from players. Just add the points up.

I'm really frustrated....sorry.
