Tumble Weed In TSGK Server. |
|
Has anyone else noticed that its very dead in the tsgk server these days?
Personaly i blame the mute system, as you may or may not know this system checks the chat logs and auto mutes the offending people (Like me yes.) perminantly. which yes is quite anoying, because i cannot say hi or gg or on the odd ocasion tell campers where to go.
I use to use TSGK server about 80% of my gameplay. now i prob use them 20% due to my mute, i know i am not the only one becasue alot of my mates dont use the tsgk now, because ether they or one of there mate are muted. so cannot have friendly banter, etc...
why does the system not issue a 1 week ban for the first offence? or maybe a month ban, the chances are when those people return they will be better behaved or walk away from camper/alkward players as the frustration of seeing "player **** is muted" and the frustration of not being able to talk was probable enough to make them no do it again!
End of my mini rant now, thanks for looking.

At the end of the day it is making TSGK servers dead.
Personaly i dont think my mute was justified, but there is not alot i can do.
yeah i was rude to a guy but he has to be 13+ or 15+ to play the game and have you ever been to the park or out side your local shop/chilling area? (they could teach u a few choice words you dont know.) but its called retaliation. 90% of the time i am polite and try and help/teach new player kinda hard with a mute.
Anyway its not me that has a huge loss its TSGK clearly, as there are now far less players are there not?
Got a lovely screen shot of how busy the server are these days. was taken at 10pm uk time, usualy a fairly busy time. and was just as bad at 8pm.

Take a pic of the whole list of internet servers the next time. You will understand then, that there is nothing to link with the automuting system of TSGK.
By the way, I do not think that this system is open for a discution. It is just a solution to get rid of players who cannot take the game as it has to be.
But thanks, really..

Ya TSGK servers are very empty sometimes, they have the most servers out of any clan in HL2DM though. It's just that people only like playing one or two maps now, as soon as the map changes to something that's not the original TSGK killbox, a lot of people leave. But occasionally there are some very fun games on domebox and donutbox.

If you are looking for any statistics about the TSGK Servers you can use this site which is the most accurrate if you need anything to point out or laugh at:
http://hl2mp.tsgk.com
It is sad to see that some players are enjoying the declin of the whole HL2DM community while posting a screenshot of the 1127 servers and showing that only 4 - 5 of them are full and proud of it.
Personaly to see that only not even a dozen of HL2DM servers over 1127 are full doesn't provide me any kind of excitement or satisfaction.
Thanks.
