I think I have seen this before but can't find. There appear to be some differing views on these settings.

Should I use different settings on a full box vs empty box?

Should I use different settings for 10 ping vs 50 ping?

I also believe the incorrect settings can mess up others. is this true?

I have always used.
cl_updaterate "20" I've tried 30 before and seemed jerky to me.(could just be me)
cl_cmdrate "30"
rate 30000

while playing on TSGK servers you can up the cl_cmdrate and cl_update rate to 66 when there are less then 5 players playing.

It will probably not be jerky for a 1v1 with high settings.

worth a try. if you don't like it you can always change back.
