Hello people with answers.

I'm a bit hungover today as I was in the pub last night. After I came home I went online. It's not a good idea to play HL2DM when you're drunk. I kept picking up exploding barrells but then forgot what I wanted to do with them, my grenades would never leave my hand, and I disabled the keys to a lot of weapons thinking it would make me a better player. Rolling Eyes

But that's not what this post is about. First ceist (ceist is Irish for question)...

Wall riding Anyone hear of this? What is it and how can I do it?

Second ceist... HL2DM Pro Mod This is some sort of add-on isn't it? Is it any good? Some servers say "this is a pro server", does that mean they are promod servers? Can normal HL2DM players play on promod servers i.e. could I be playing against someone who is using pro mod? Sorry if that's a silly question.

I've tried to look for answers elsewhere but a lot of websites are banned by my job's security settings.

Thanks

Diet H20 (dehydrated)

Never heard of wall riding.

The pro mod is an add on, you have to launch HLDM PRO separately from the "My games" tab and you will only see a list of servers set up with DM Pro. If you launch normal HLDM you will only see normal DM servers, even though they may have PRO in the title.

Hope that helps Very Happy

ty cannon

Is the pro mod worth playing?

Re wall riding this is the quote where I came across it:
Quote:
In normal hl2dm if you hug a wall by holding w and a strafe key while running against it, you gain speed

ive tried the pro mod but there never seems to be anyone on the servers when i give it a go,im sure it could be fun if there was enough of you playing.as for wall riding ive never heard of it but in the pro mod you can wall jump.all you do is strafe into a wall while jumping then jump again when you hit the wall.you can also do this in ctf if the server name has pro in it.have any of you heard of hover boarding not sure if this is a cheat or not but looks like good fun, anyone know how to do this?

As [DmK]chazzz said, the servers are pretty quiet, but it is great for running clan matches. It has a good control panel to set up games, restarts etc. It also has a built in feature, (I forget what its called) but when set, the map is 1 v1 winner stays on. All other players spectate and as soon as one player dies, one of those spectating comes in.

Done this a few times now on a Friday night, get some beers in and onto TS so you can chat (insult) your mates and its a great laugh. Very Happy
