There's spawn slammers, spawn campers, bunker campers, top walk campers, charge whores, smg freaks and combinations of all of the above.

To counter, there's AR gun, AR balls, grav gun, grenades, 357, Crossbow, shotgun, SMG nades, some rattling machine called SMG. To counter with more satisfaction, there's stunstick and crowbar. To make yourself look stupid, use chat to say something about it.

Hm, I'm re-reading what I wrote there. Sounds condemning of you and I have no idea how you responded to that player who thought slamming a spawn point was a good way to get a kill.

What I meant to say was that a kill like that, or an occasional spawn kill, or someone SMG-ing you to death in the middle of a stick fight are just things that happen and it's better for your game if you try to ignore it. By entering into an argument you get more frustrated, the other player will do even more to wind you up.

Ever had a game of overwatch where you spawn 5 times in a row in the same corner with a dude with a radiator right behind you? I think I said something too then. Embarassed But saying what you feel at that time doesn't make you feel any better and the other player will not change his behaviour to your liking.

this is true. perhaps someone here remembers a certain player called time4porn? Evil or Very Mad responding would get you nowhere. i mean NOWHERE. So might as well practice your cold shoulder. It can get aggravating. there is nothing i hate more than being naded or smg'd to death in a stick fight. but there is nothing you can do about it except make the problem worse. so try to prove yourself as the more mature player and they'll get whats coming to them soon enough. I thought we had a spawn slam protection? I remember it being active. when you spawn and activate a slam you dont take damage.

A from this thread -

Quote:

There are three players in the box, two are stick fighting. The third has 5hp and a nade in his hand.
Does he
1) Join in the stick fight.
2) Throw the nade into the fight.
3) Wait until the fight is over and then throw the nade.

He has no nades what then?

There are rules of etiquette governed mainly the clan you wish to join and some like don't spawn mine which are universal. At the end of the day its death match you are playing, not cricket or tennis.
Personally, I hate being sticked from behind when I am exchanging combine balls with another player.
If you take playing etiquette to its extreme, we might as well exchange the stun sticks for feather dusters and apologise for bludgeoning each other to death with handbags.

I used to not have a problem with it either. But then when I saw stick lovers getting frustrated with it, I find that I make exceptions. Totally dependent on the mood of the game, if lots of sticking is going on, I'll generally let the stickers kill themselves, also if I know the player is a stick / crowbar freak, I'll generally not nade him / her to bits if a stick fight is going on. These are not rules for me, but I find that I'm just often playing like this. It's nonsense of course, letting 2 targets with less than decent health fight it out, so well....

I usually keep nading but I have a habit to join the dance of the sticks and not run away when people are approaching who I suspect to be upset/cry when I xbow them to the wall when they want to pair. I think there's more people that do that.

there is nothing i hate more than being naded or smg'd to death in a stick fight

I have no problem thowing a nade in. And no problem if I am a victim of same.

Hooray i have an ally! ill just stick people while playing with you Wink

Count me in! Mr. Green Mr. Green

I usually keep nading but I have a habit to join the dance of the sticks and not run away when people are approaching who I suspect to be upset/cry when I xbow them to the wall when they want to pair. I think there's more people that do that.

If you stuck me to the wall during a stick fight, i would cry then come after you Twisted Evil

im Just bored and will continue to Quote all xD Laughing Laughing
