I saw it on steam forums. Go to half life 2 deathmatch, then updates coming?? post.
Yes mani is being updated, and we will probably use it briefly, but personally im waiting for Keepers new admin plugin. Kc servers will then be keeper only lol. Brand new admin plugin written souly for dm, well... Dm first, then TF2 xD

Also have a good look through the tips and tricks section, from different keyboard layouts, changing game specs and adding various things into your autoexec file. Make sure you go right back, theres 1 or 2 gems in there if your prepared to look Wink

EDIT:Well I tried and it failed,no update no chat fix, and I checked it says my client is up to date

This is still a beta update. It will take some time for this to be released officially. But it wont take too long I guess, may be a couple of days.

With an update like that, assuming the fixes work and no new bugs are introduced.... Valve may regain a lot of lost credit from HL2DM players.

When the linux chat wasn't working, every demo I had previously recorded on any linux server wouldn't replay properly, it was fine until a chat message was supposed to be displayed the after that you would get floods of error messages and couldn't see any animation in the demo.

Now they work like they should.

I've heard stories of previous updates permanently ruining demos and I'm very happy this is not the case.

Thay havent fixed the hit reg stuff XD I still shoot the belly sometimes and get a HEADSHOT Embarassed

All servers are now up to date.

First bug noticed right after this update:
"CMaterial::PrecacheVars: error loading vmt file for 'path to the file'"

Appearing in the console randomly but regulary and on any maps, breaking sometime the decal or the texture.
Anybody else?
