Hey, guys. I just registered not too long ago, but Ive been playing on your HL2 Deathmatch servers for quite a long time now. I would like to say to the admins here (Osiris) for what a great job him and his team are with the servers and this site which is amazing. Thanks for putting out such great servers too!!! Very Happy

I have a question. How does a person here go about activating the awards system? I see I havent got an award lately or ever for that matter. I read the threads on it, but couldnt find any info on activating (does it activate as soon as your registered here??).

My name in game will always be JMac, so I would also like to say hi to everyone that Im having fun with on these servers!!!

The awards system works for everyone playing on TSGK servers, registered on this forum or not.

So get up at 6 tomorrow, play for 18 hours and tell us the results Wink

By the way, as you can see in the daily awards pages, some awards are more difficult to get than others, especially stick and physics.

If you go for an award chasing day, focus on one or two things, maybe slams and grenades or something. Physbox is usually doable too, if noone else is aiming for it. (tip, hotel sign Overwatch).

The first table is the today's triggered awards per weapons, this table change everyday.
To trigger an award you have to be the player that does the most kills with a weapon during a whole day.

Welcome!

Before you play, make sure you are ready for a longer game session and stick to the weapon you want to get an award for. Simple in theory!

Some awards usually require very large amounts of kills e.g. physics/crossbow but others vary and can be quite low on some days like shotgun, crowbar or AR2. I used to boost my stats with physbox (4 kills got me it one day!) but now lots of other people have the same idea. Sad

I've been playing on our servers a lot, the most i think i've managed is 6 hrs in one day and i still haven't triggered any awards Embarassed

but then i play with the main weapons so 6 hrs isn't enough it seems.
