Do you think like a psycho killer? Subject description: riddle sort of thing |
|
Read the question below, come up with an answer. This is not a trick question.
A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a guy whom she did not know. She thought the man was amazing. She believed him to be her dream hero so much so that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister.
Question:
What is her motive for killing her sister?

I don't see why one does think like a psycho killer if one gets the right answer (like Rublis did). It's a logical puzzle, which has a reasonable solution whith the given information. There are many other possible "solutions", but all deal with the question: Why is somebody killing somebody else. Since there is (at least in this context) no morally or ethically valid answer, everything will be interpreted as "psycho".
Btw, whats the difference between a "killer" and a "psycho killer"?
(apart from the last one being an old song from the 80's or so)

I think the sister was the cause for the mothers death (which was not stated in question). Her anger towards her own sister would have driven her to the edge of madness thus killing her in the process.
Im sorry guys but no one would kill their sister over a guy they loved. Unless the guy was the person she met...

maybe the dream man is the sister. The mothers death turned her sister to a man. Then the sister fell in love with the man. The discovery that the man she fell in love with was her sister was so shocking, she felt ridiculed and hurt. The motive was the after mentioned emotions which fuelled the desire for revenge. They fought and the sister pwned her man sister and thus ends this tragic story of eternal deception, death and despair.

I think she killed her sister in the hope that this man she had fallen in love with, would turn up at the next funeral. He must have known her mother and since she had no idea who he was or how to contact him, he only hope was that she would meet him at her sisters funeral.

Maybe the sister, who she hasn't spoken to in a lot of years was married to the dream man. Both sisters where duty bound to circulate all of the mourners, so where not with the spouse's on the day.
Having now spoken with sister on the day, decide to meet up a few days later, realise she's with her dream man and kills her that evening?

This was a question set by psychologists to several serial killers.
They all answered the same thing.
Rublis and Cannon Fodder were the two who answered as a serial killer would.
It is the only correct answer in the context the question was given.
There are many possible solutions as to why someone would kill their sister.
But if your reply is along the lines of "she was hoping to meet the guy at her sister's funeral," then congratulations, you think like a psycho killer.

No, I think this is clearly a case of obsessive hl2 dm playing and a combination of sleepwalking. The love at first sight is just a red herring.
OMG, there are a lot of potential psycho killers out there.

That's not fair, I don't think like a serial killer I looked at a given scenario and came to the conclusion that that is how a serial killer would rationalise it, not how I would behave.
