Hi everybody.
I want to buy a new car next month. But I cant get my mind made up.
I cant choose between these 2 different cars:

1) Peugeot 207CC (coupe-cabriolet) 1.6 HDI
2) Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet

Just want to hear some different opions and suggestions Smile

Boths of them are owned by friends, i was more impressed by the Megane which his more powerfull and has a lot more space for the back passangers, it also looks good.
But as the 207CC has a HDI engine it will consum lot less gas, less powerfull and the back seats are absolutly useless (like the 206CC).

The 307CC isn't on your choice, so then the Megane sound good if you don't mind for gas, if not it would be the 207CC.

Nice one Smile .

The 307CC isnt in the list cause its a bit to expensive. At the moment I drive a renault megane coupé 1.6e from 96. Very nice car but its old and it drinks more then i do Razz .
I also think that the 1.6 HDI engine isnt powerfull enough in the 207 CC. Very nice looking sportscar with an useless engine perhaps Confused . This week I will pay a visit with both dealers and I will let you guys know what they said and wich conditions they give Wink .

Well it depends, you didn't specified what engine does megane has. In my opinion peugot has much better design but it is smaller, while megan is bigger and provides much more space.
Beside it peugot's HDI is officially one of the very best engines in the world.
If you ask me I would purchase 206 definitely.Oh yes, take black version with white seats it looks absolutely awesome.

The French do know how to make cars if nothing else, I have owned 3 Renault and one Peugeot. Also one VW and a Vauxhull (Opel). I have driven more different makes of cars than you care to mention. At the moment the wife has a Vauxhall made by Suzuki somewhere in the world and I drive around in a Ford Ranger which is a Mazda. Ford own Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar, Mazda and lots more besides.
What to go for is the car with the best warranty. You should be looking at a minimum of three years parts and labour or more. Also the body should be either galvanized or come with a 10 yr body warranty.
Now, if you want a babe mobile, it has to be Ferrari Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing zooom

aah, always the same. boys and their cars Wink Laughing *kicher*

be careful with the Renault one, two of my friends have a lot of problems with elemental parts of their renaults (Megane and Clio). Spezial with the gearbox, set-up and the wheel suspension (!). the megane one was a new one, 4 great mendings in 3 years, and of cource with very expensive repair parts. Only my experience.

Very important is when you buy a cabrio, buy one with metal hardtop, not
a cord one. so you have no problems at winter....

so i vote for the Peugeot.

btw. here some pics from the car of my friend, very very cool car! I love it. that sounds so sexy...unbelievable Rolling Eyes Very Happy
