It's easy to get it up, but keeping it up requires a lot of effort and stamina. Playing with people who are both attractive and challenging can help, especially if your fond of holding your stick up for all to see.

Don't rush into things, take plenty of breaks and come back for more when your energy levels have returned. Don't get fed up if it drops, it happens the best of us. Remember, it's 50% technique and 50% psychological.

When you will practise bunny hope you willbe really better a man must to give some exercises and try to throw your 'nade with right click of mouse and take your gravegun "g" and press on right click of mouse and throw your 'nade with the left click of mouse

Nades (SMG and GGun) are quick easy kills, you can easily maintain a 2:1 KPD just using GGun Physics round the map they are easy kills as well, if all else fails just jump on a server with people wo are not as good as you Very Happy

As darkmaster said, learn bhopping, essential for getting around the map quickly (Find kills quickly, get out of danger if your about to die), also learn how to use Jump platforms well, there easy to use and will have you flying round the map in no time nading the muhah out of every1, its worth the 10hp loss if you are 50+ on hp

Look at the weapon usuage. Theres a column that shows the points modifier. The bigger the modifier the more points you get, so to get Maximum points per kill, you have to use the Crowbar/Stunstick. Next one is GGgun, then it goes lower and lower and lower based on weapon (RPG and SMG being the lowest I think for obvious reasons). Osiris will probably post the actual formula if you wanna know exactly how many points your getting based on Your current points and your victims points.

I wouldn't worry about your rank, its no biggy for joining as long as your KPD is ok, its a question of how good you are rather than being no 1 in the rankings. Mines jumped around from rank 400 to rank 50 sumthin back down to 400 again. Not really something worth maintaining, I just make sure my KPD looks sweet really, and even thats started dropping now.

The dilema is; playing with players of less skill and your kpd goes up, playing with better players than you to improve your skill and to start with your kpd goes down.

You will need all the skill you can get when you have your tryout against the Capt. so its up to you which route you take.

Also spend time on server II as this map is used in the tryout. Learn where all the weapons are of by heart, also things like med kits and suit charge blocks. You will also need to show skill with variety of weapons so learn the gg nade and physics but keep practising with the mag, shotty and xbow. Although you are being avised to use the jump platforms to rain down nades, 1v1 you will always be the center of attention and while your cooking your nade your a nice fat target in the sky. Also the capt is ace at cathing nades.

Sorry if im putting you off with this info, when poeple above have given good advice for getting your kpd up, but i assume this is for you to get a try out so you need to be awear of only learning that type of play. Good luck

Just wondering: Does the formula take into account how many health points u still have? I've seen kills where i had less than 10 hp, got killed and the other one got 100 points.

the health doesn´t have any impact on the points. its only your points, the other ones points and the weapons point modifier that matters.

yeah i agree with lawitz

but it could be more rewarding if, for example, a guy with under 10hp kills more than 10 guys, that could give a bit more points to make it fair Very Happy

Lets put some numbers into that
12 kills and 10 deaths result in a KPD of 1.2
Now your kill rate kpm is governed by the map played and your skill.
Assuming a constant kpm rate of 12 and reducing reducing the number of deaths to 9 results is a kpd of 1.3333....
Upping the number of kills to 13 and the death rate remaining a 10 results in a kpd of 1.3
i.e. a .0333.. advantage in reducing the deaths by 1 over increasing the kills by 1.
Now lets take this to the extreme 12 kills and no deaths = kpd infinity or an alternative definition of God mode Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
