Display player names in game |
|
Is it possible to have the player's name displayed above his head during the game? Similar to the symbol showing up when a player plays some sound.

The name of the player what difference would that make unless you want to pick on someone or team up ? what are your motives ?

All i know is that you can change the textsize of the showed playernames. I decreased the size of the text because clear sight is more important for me then the name. No Idea if you could change the text position aswell. I doubt it and see no real point in this eighter.

he didnīt just ask to have it on the head, he also wanted to know if its possible that it is there permanently whereever he is looking like when someone is using voice chat and you can see this symbol on his head. but you see the names only when you point at them when they are near.

the chat symbol displays always if I remember right, so extracted the invisible blocks of information, tore it apart, put it in the right order and wrote down the report above...

One of the motive would be someting like: depending on who the other player is, i could change my strategy when attacking him or defending against him. Sometimes i'm looking for a certain player to attack (sweet revenge ), or to avoid (whimp-mode ). It might also be useful in team matches.
I've seen things like that in other games (now don't ask me which ones, but i'm sure i saw it..
