Speed Ball

You need a Combine Rifle and a Combine ball, shoot the Combine ball and very quickly change to your Grav gun then shoot the Combine ball with Grav gun (don't catch the ball). Note you have to be quick, if you do this right the ball will go around the room 10 times faster. Very hard to catch the ball if someone speed balls you. Wink

easy way: press right click and after that hold leftclick pressed and tap G all the time. to make the ball go at the fastest speed you have to manually tell the time to press G, the speed is variable.

another very usefull thing many seem to not know about:
when pressing right click, hold it and tap G all the time. now you will get the ball with the gravgun and can do a better aimed throw like when you take the orb from an orbgenerator.

Thai is not that good as Fast ball Smile

But its handy sometimes

why such a hard method?
there is a much easier way:
press rightclick and hold it. keep tapping g (gravgun button) and there you have it, its that easy Smile

When someone is standing 5 feet in front of you, shoot the ball until it hits him and then take it back by switching fast to grav gun. very cool trick lol.
You can catch the ball the same way as you catch your nades before you launch them.

In Council its very easy to kill a lot with one ball. Before the ball starts to explode shoot it straight to a wall and then immediate catch it and start walking around with it. If you do this right and you repeat it everytime, you can walk through the whole map with that one ball.
The funpart is that people sometimes start running away cause they hear you comming Laughing

Yes Josh it's true!

Basically hit primary when you hear it charging but before you see the ball. Hit secondary to catch using same method.

While balls are a bit spammy, they are beautiful. I love them. I would gladly get killed 10 times just so I can get the gun and ammo to launch a speedball. I could write a poem about it but I won't cos I have to go to the loo. I eat a high fibre breakfast.

Now that I've changed my keys around a bit I can do it, and wow. So awesome! I also stumbled upon something else though, once it just stopped instead of flying off and high speed. Shocked
