-when you see 2 people sticking, stick the strong one first.

-if there is more then 2 people its too chaotic, stay out or you might die quickly from disorder and claustrophobia.

-always try to stick from behind when they are occupied with someone else.

-try to walk around people so they have to move their mouse and adjust to your new position where you are already sure and beating them. sometimes they even donīt know where you are at all if you get behind them.

-if you want to stick someone strafe randomly and never towards them, even weak players can get you easily with the xbow if you go straight at them.

-in a stick fight, donīt jump. this will make it easy for your enemy to hit you.

-against weaker players who just shoot you with smg etc. you can strafe jump or bunny hop to them so you donīt waste so much aux energy.

-try to avoid stick fights in open areas and when there are too many players around, the probabilty of finishing it alive is very low for both players. for example server I with several nade freaks.

-if you want to stick someone try to weaken them so you can kill them with one hit. if you know the person will pull out his/her stick, then donīt do it, be fair! but if you want to kill them and weaken them and then they pull their stick its ok to use it. thats what I think is right, itīs for everyone to decide. but remember the chance of a stickfight is lower if you weaken them.

-bind the stick to a quickly reachable button so you can be ready in an instant or you may get hit before you pull it out. the scrollwheel is very bad, learn not using it at all.

-look for weakened players

-donīt be suicidal and go into a mass of enemies, again you can be killed very quickly and those areas have a high multikill potential.

-donīt go for enemies that are too far except they donīt know you are going towards them.

-donīt always pull the stick to finish someone off, be clever and use what would be fitting.

-if more comes in my mind Iīll post it later

One of the most effective stick techniques is a shotgun.

How do u know that a player is weakened? (Except when u saw that he was hit by smt, or shot etc...)

And more and more i find it quite fun to seem to run away from a stunstick attack from behind, grab the next object, immediately turn and toss it at the stunstick guy...

As Lawitz said about utilizing whatever's suitable/available can be better than sticking it to someone for sticking's sake.
Why, I hit a guy with a grav/tire in killroofs...

"You look tired!"

"Wanker," he replied.

DBD989, you're already sick with the stick for sure! That Magnum map we played is insane. LOL

When I stick I usually strafe around them and attack at the sides. I usually win though sometimes they get one or two hits in, and if you're being chased by a stunsticker just keep shooting but when he gets close, if you don't have a shotgun you should take out your stick to, otherwise he'll own you.

if you are going to shoot a stick user and run away at the same time, try learning backwards jumping. I do it like this: strafe jump, turn around in the air, go over to bunny hopping which will make my first hop have some good speed and it will gradually fall down though. this is also useful for sidejumping. getting a back strafe jump with a good speed is hard, so you do a frontral one and turn around. of course you need to work a lot on it, or you will be caught because you are too slow.

you just need to curve your mouse like you do it when you skate forward
(i hope you do it lol) then you dont slow down or only a bit, but allways faster
then somebody just strafejumping or running after you.

I love when two are SMGing each other. Strafe over there and clock both. You KNOW they don't have many points left. Beautiful.

Tight rooms are great like the Mag room in Lockdown. Noobs get caught in those spaces often.
Strafe to their side, stun and strafe to the other side. ZZZZZT!
Nice.

I canīt do the true bunnyhop, if I try doing it like its supposed to be done I end up not reaching any good speed at all. so I just strafe jump, go over to hopping hold a or d (according to the direction I want to go to) and just press jump till I drop to 350 or so. example:
450-420-400-390-370- new jump. mostly I canīt do this many jumps because of enemys or because I have to turn.

so I dont do this mouse whipping thing, it kind of breaks my jumps.

I may try learning it again but I wonder if I can still adapt to that.

Theres a big difference of my skate from server to server. On some servers i just cant do it fast and on some i really rock that depends on the server location, tickrate and map too sometimes. When iam on a good one 500 permanently is no problem.
I could give you some suggestions if you want, just give me a shout. ^^
