Pings Subject description: lots of high pingers=lag? |

Auto-kick high ping. Who stole it? Where did they hide it? Can we have it back please?!
Hi folks. Just wondering, is there a reason we don't have this no more? A lot of the matches I try to play these days seem to turn into a lag-orgy of players with 200+ pings. It sucks when you're trying to smash their skulls open with the stunstick only to find you can't hit them because of their funky warp-around-the-map moves
Anyway just thought I'd ask, maybe I'm imagining it and I just need to up my meds or switch to a less shitty ISP
Cheers for the great servers and team btw.

A high ping player don't make the server laggy but can be hard to kill due to their laggy move.
Also, the limit for high ping player was 300 (didn't saw a lot of ping over 150).
Right now the high ping kick has been disabled for a testing period.
Thanks for you feedback.

I notice that ping varies... It can leap if there are a lot of users playing on a map and a new user is trying to join.
Ping is the bane of my life.
I also hate my ISP. I've been down for nearly a week now and it's wrecking my home-life. I've already painted a room, repaired the shower, cooked dinners etc. Unless I go online again soon my wife will expect me to be perfect all the time...
Waterboy out.

He he Osiris & Priebe.
It's a lovely colour - 4 coats of white for playroom. and 3 coats for the utilitily room.
Internet still down... Last night I cooked a beef stir fry, did the dishes, fixed a curtain rail. I'm beginning to freak the missus out...
I played splinter cell chaos theory solo to get my gaming fix but it's not the same as my trusty crossbow on HL2DM.
Hope to be back online tonight. I would consider a second connection with a different provider but it's too costly. I would have to go along to HL2DM Anonymous meetings and declare myself an addict - they wouldn't take me seriously in my water bottle disguise.
Diet out.
