This is extremely weird. I've been playing on TSGK servers for months with no problems and all the sudden 2 nights in a row, tsgk clan members have been accusing me of hacking. This past friday some trouble making kids started to swamp the server with messages that I hack and that I should be kicked. They were getting beaten badly I admit. Next thing I know a tsgk member jumps on the bandwagon. Then Ghostdog joins the server and spec's me and cleared me of these charges. It seems as if the kid who started it all was not on friendly terms with tsgk, like he has caused trouble before.

Then tonight I'm playing on the same server (XVII) and I killed Osiris and our only other opponent and Osiris says "thanks for the demo". "You were reported as hacking lastnight" and then I was banned.

Guys.... my ping is 17 on XVII! Osiris had a ping of 80. If you've never been on the winning side of this kind of ping disparity then you don't know what you're missing! It would have been better if Osiris had gone into spec to see for himself before he banned me. I don't even remember the frag prior to being banned because it probably didn't seem that spectacular to me. The funny thing is I went searching on this forum to see if I could find someone complaining about me and I found a post where Osiris was consoling another poster because they had been accused of hacking. He said it happens to him to. Lol

If you don't want me playing on the server then I won't, but I do NOT hack. I'm amused though with the idea that I now know how to get rid of someone I don't like. All I have to do is report them for hacking and they won't get the benefit of the doubt the next time they're on the server with Osiris.

EDIT: 15 minutes later it seems I'm no longer banned. I'm confused. Rolling Eyes

I told you that I saw no evidence that night but it is in no way my decision what happens and Osiris has much more experience at this than I do.

Trust me in a situation like this be happy you have someone like Osiris handling it.

But since you aren't banned, and your message has nothing to do with that, it seems that the problem isn't anymore.

I was one of the 4-5 players who witnessed your hacking.

Answer me this: If you weren't hacking, how did your KDR go from 30:1 before being spectated to approx. 1.5:1 during being spectated?

The map you were initially accused of using hacks your had 60 kills to only 2 deaths with a majority of your kills being headshots from across the map. Heck..even the TSGK member partaking in the match acknowledged your hacking.

When TSGK started to witness your actions, all of a sudden you were back to normal (40 some add kills to 20 some add deaths). Coincidence? Smells a little fishy to me...

Anyway..what's more outrageous is the fact TSGK is not enacting a perma-ban on you. As stated in my previous post, I will do everything in my power to steer people away from the TSGK servers for their condoning/harboring known hackers.

As far for you, I really look forward to the day you will be caught and slapped with a perma-ban from all HL2 servers.

I know a few of the tsgk members very well and they do not harber hackers... I have in the past reported several poss hackers to osiris . and know for a fact that it was looked into properly . these acusations from you make me mad as the tsgk have always in my experience looked after players even if they are not tsgk member . so things like this just drive more players away from this game . and i think that the detection methods are better now .as i haven seen poss hacking for quite some time.

If you thought this person was hacking why not simply politely pm osiris and ask him to look into it . instead of causing trouble and just getting pepoles backs up. Crying or Very sad

Just wanted to say thanks to Osiris for eliminating the ban.

And I have to respond to Time4porn.....

It's obvious you're a trouble maker judging from the clan's responses to you. But I will respond to your points since you seemingly took the time to make a rational argument. Yes, I did have a score like 60-2. The facts are that it was a map that can be easily camped and there were only 5-6 players playing. This was an ideal situation for me to control with my 17 ping. It also helps when the other 5 players just aren't very good Smile

. Most of them just stood in one place while they were shooting, making it too easy for me to zoom in and get a headshot.

Once Ghost came in to spectate we were on different maps. Maps that cannot be camped so easily(if at all) and also the server was much more full forcing me into an entirely different playing style. Even then, I still had scores like 80-30 and was winning the maps. In my experience, a real cheater who turns his hacks off probably can't do that.

If I were you, I'd work on improving because you certainly need to if you were doing your best that night.

my best ping ever was 5 on a german server. is it possible to have even lesser? (real ping, not some hacked stuff like some do)
