I do this evrey time but i can't explain exactly how i procede.

when you are out of ammo with the colt let the reload animation begin then switch to the grav gun (or change weapon) with a bind key... use the grav gun a little then go back to the colt by cycling weapons, now the colt is realoaded....

I think this works but i will check my videos to see how it happend exactly

This "fast reaload" work for some others weapons like shotgun , crossbow etc....
When you are empty of ammo , switch on another weapon , play a bit with it, and switch again to the previous weapon and you'll see it's reaload . Enjoy Very Happy

With ValveSoftware , we are sure of nothing. They pass more time to bugged the servers (accidently ? yes/no ?) and made fix for Steam than made Fix for crashes Sad

I don't really think it's a bug, really. There's more games that reload your weapon while it is in your pocket (while you are using another weapon)

first time i ran out of bullets, and ran with the SMG instead (I dont use much anymore, but it was 9 months ago) when i switched to the mag again, it had a full magazine, i was like "wtf, i tought it was empty"

I only noticed that it was a bug, and not me 2 months later Laughing

God, the bugs with this software.

Anyone else terrified that Team Fortress 2 will be in the hands of such brilliant, but incompetent, people? They can't fix the memory can't be read error that plagues tens of thousands...

the users are always at fault, if not they will fix it when they can get a 6 three times with a shuffle. then the fix will make even more bugs than it fixes. Rolling Eyes

for hl2 the fix for the crashes is just so simple, all audiocard vendors have to change their drivers, it´s their job to make their drivers compatible with the games, not valves work to make their games compatible with their drivers. Razz

Yep - xbow reload can be very frustrating. You need to think twice before switching weapons. Also, the zoom that arises when you switch from xbow to gg (or is it the otherway round?) makes me bite my lips.

I dont think it is reloading any faster. I think you hit reload then put the gun away and u can use another gun while its reloading. You cant hit reload and then switch weapons super fast to find a full clip. If you could reload that fast 327 would b even more godly.

In Fact it dont saves time at all i think. Only difference is to use another Weapon while the Magnum reloads fromself in background. You can wait a few seconds to reload it or use another Weapon meanwhile. It dont reloads faster about this.
