Hello Sadist,
Things have progressed a fair bit since I made that post. No, I no longer mind playing with 16 but I still dislike playing with small numbers. .
My game has progressed a bit as well but this is only due to the standard of the players I like to play against. I am not that fast and like the comfort of the bunker on server 1. I do not have to worry too much about the nades raining down. I would love to play more in the open and this will come eventually. I am working on the stick and other weapons but this is costing me dearly. . I do however feel that, irrespective of what others think about my game play, I am now a more rounded player. I wish I could react fast enough to be able to change weapons to suit the circumstances.
I can't help but smile when other players swear at me and call me names, I must be doing something right.
A lot can happen in a month of game play

Hi zog
I know what you mean about being fast enough to change weapons. One thing that helped me greatly was changing my mouse to an mx518. You get two extra buttons by your thumb, these i have set to xbow and shotgun. It cost me £40 but to me has be well worth it as it has helped me raise my game alot.
Read the key configuration under tips and tricks. Some of the lay outs my suit you. Only problem is relearning what each key does, set my game play back a week but was well worth it in the end
Hope to see you (and kill you first) on server 1 soon

Hi Sniperborg, good to see daddy back on the forum if not committing time to the game.
As it happens, I as getting a bit worried about things being stuck to the floor on server 1 (even with the lag )
Ode to a Mouse ( with apologies to da bard)
Wee poor an timerous bestie,
Yer left button is nae sae hastie,
Ye did nae serve me weil last night,
I fear ye hae flayed in shite.
Through Quake and Doom,
Ye served me weil
But ye could nae hack
Half life's hell.
Yer tefoln pads hae worn sic thin,
Tae cast ye oot wid be a sin,
Yer light, though it still shines bright,
Yer destined for da bin tonight.
(Translations availiable )
I think it was a all night session on Lord Davros' server was what did the damage.
well hae to go now need to look on ebay for a replacement.
