Here is the first release of the map that i have made. This is my first map and i know alot of you have some experience in mapping. I would appreciate the feedback so i can work on the 2nd release
I have tried to make the map quite small and fast paced and i believe i have achieved this. There are 10 spawning points upon platforms and 8 of these have a weapon on, either magnum, x-bow, shotgun or ar2 (combine rifle). This means you can jump straight into the fight!
It is meant to be a fast paced map. With this in mind i have put in quite alot of ammo and health. Not to mention a good deal of physics.
hi Sarge, I tried out your map. and the biggest problem I see with it is that there is no way of getting up to the platforms above once you fall down. The map is a little small but maybe you are also going for that. I can see it being an intense 1v1 and can be used to play around with physics on a level playing field.. .. and the map is too small for a full server.

You are correct saying that i was aiming for a small map. and i also realised it would be to small for a full server. I think 10people would make for a very fast/intense fight.
Some Lgm have also mentioned about not being able to get up. I thought this would be good as you are forced to fight and not flee. but this is just planned. A central lift is in my mind for the second version.

Hi sarge
Looked at the map this morning and Meekmeekle has said excatly what i was going to say.
I think you should go with 4 lights in the roof evenly spaced around to create pools of light and dark areas. Also make some of the objects like the disco blades so the colour stands out when moving across the map.
Rather than a lift why don't you have a jump area like in the killroof?
I suppose you now want to change your 1v1 map to this one, i like _________________
